2025-08-28: Deadline extension for final test set submission
Since the docker submission deadline on the final test set was scheduled to be on a week-end, we extended it until Monday night (Sept 1st, 23:59 CEST).
2025-09-01: Deadline extension for preliminary test set on track 1
We’ve noticed that some participants are running into issues with the final test set. Please note that the maximum image size in the final test set is a bit larger than in the preliminary test set, up to 8284 × 6212 (preliminary: up to 7255 x 5285). We did not run into this issue for the last MIDOG, so this was also unexpected to us, but we assume that it can be attributed to larger models being SOTA now.
To ensure everyone has a fair chance, we are reopening the preliminary submission phase for track 1 and aligning its deadline with the final test submission deadline. Please adjust your algorithms accordingly and resubmit.
We recommend to be very thoughtful about the use of resource-inefficient methods like ensembling, as this significantly increases the risk of timeouts and out of memory issues. It is in the responsibility of the participants to stay within the resource limitations that our challenge provides.
